Darryl Sharp – Managing DirectorDarryl commenced at Austin International in the foundation year of 1987. He is a licensed Customs Broker and a Fellow of the Customs Brokers and Forwarders Council of Australia (CBFCA). In 2007, Darryl was elected Chairman of the CBFCA and he remains committed to supporting and improving this dynamic industry. Darryl has travelled extensively in his official role with the CBFCA and also in his own capacity as an active and dedicated Director at Austin International. From these opportunities Darryl has developed strong international relations and many valued friendships. His vast experience has provided Darryl with a keen perspective on Australia’s role in international trade as well as affording him the opportunity to meet regularly with the CEO of Customs, Federal & State Ministers plus a diverse cross section of industry leaders and innovators. Scott Vitelli – General Manager
Scott commenced at Austin International in 1989 and has worked in all sectors of the business before his appointment to General Manager in 2007. Scott is a licensed Customs Broker, accredited Quarantine Broker, and a Senior Associate with the CBFCA. Scott regularly attends conferences, international AGM’s, and industry affiliated working groups to ensure he remains at the forefront of business trends and opportunities in our market.
In addition to other industry accreditations, Scott’s 20 + years of practical experience at the coal face of our industry, and his key principles of communication, care and integrity make him a sought after advisor to clients and peers alike.
Craig Bashall – Account ExecutiveCraig has been with Austin International since 2003. He is a licensed Customs Broker, accredited Quarantine Broker, and an Associate with the CBFCA. He manages an experienced operational team that services a broad cross section of industry sectors. Staying across the constant regulatory changes in the various industries makes Craig well qualified to provide a complete barrier clearance experience to importers. Matthew Watt – Account Executive
Matthew has over 15 years experience at Austin’s. He is a licensed Customs Broker, accredited Quarantine Broker, and an Associate with the CBFCA. Matthew manages a select group of clients with a focus on the automotive industry which correlates with his own passion for motor vehicles. Martin Johnson – Freight Forwarding Manager
Martin has worked in both our Customs and Forwarding sections since he commenced with us back in 2001. His current position as our Freight Forwarding Manager recognises his knowledge and dedication. Martin takes great pride in all he undertakes and works diligently to ensure his client’s interests are always a priority.
